The history of
"Le Presbytère"
The age of the Presbytery remains uncertain, archives imply that the construction could be 17th century. Certain authorities have suggested that the Chapel was built in the Roman period, 11th century.
During the 1970’s, Jean Rougié, founder of the Rougié factory, renowned worldwide for his Foies Gras, acquired this property by auction. In 2004 he presented this to his son Jacques, who together with his wife decided to undertake an extensive two year renovation project.

Today we welcome lovers of idyllic countryside and traditional French architecture, in search of a tranquil and luxurious retreat in which to relax and enjoy the exceptional surroundings that are bursting with natural, historic and cultural experiences.
